Introduced in 1961, the Maserati 3500 GTI Coupe was an updated and improved version of the 3500 GT. Featuring an uprated 3.5L inline 6, the GTI Coupe produced an additional 15hp over the standard model. Small exterior changes such as new taillights and a new grill were also implemented. Less than 500 GTI Coupes were made, making them the rarer of the 3500 GT Coupes. This car was purchased by The Wilson Collection in 2012 and went through light restoration work at the collection keeping most of the car in original form. Save for the replacement of the fuel injection system, the car remains in near original form and is a showstopper at the many Concours d'Elegances we bring it to. We continue to maintain this beauty and have a FIVA Passport as well as factory build sheets and records from Maserati Classiche for the automobile.
