The Porsche 718 Spyder (a/k/a 718 Boxster Spyder) is the convertible high-performance variant of the 718 which was introduced for the 2020 model year, as part of the new 982-generation. Like its sibling, the 718 Cayman GT4, the 718 Spyder is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-6 derived from the 992's 3.0-litre 9A2EVO engine, rated at 414 hp. The front suspension and brakes are borrowed from the 911 GT3 and it's differentiated from less powerful variants by its more aggressive bodywork. Initially, it was only available with a 6-speed manual, but later the 7-speed PDK (automatic) became an option. The car came to The Wilson Collection in 2021 after a two year wait and is a wonderful handling and performing car.
